Hi, I'm Carol Trotter, Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Health Coach and I know there's so much confusing advice out there about how to balance your hormone, lose weight and look great for the summer.

I know what it's like to have tried every diet out there, including detoxes and resets that limit what I can eat to just a few items or drinking only green juices.

That might work for some people, but the truth be told, it's never worked for me!
I lost some weight here and there but was never to maintain it and my hormones just got worse. I never really learned or understood how the different plans were helping my hormones or setting me up for future success.

I have struggled with hormone fluctuations - the mood swings, the mid-section weight gain, insufferable insomnia! I was losing sight of who I was and I didn't understand what was happening to my body. I was eating healthy, exercising but my body was failing me, I was starting to see little things pop up - achy joints, cravings for sweets and salt, not to mention having to spend at least a day a month in bed with heavy bleeding and no energy. My iron levels were falling, my vitamin D levels were low, my blood sugars were slowly climbing and my doctor told me there was nothing wrong, it was all part of aging and being a woman!

I was angry, felt betrayed, and lost not only by my body but also by the lack of compassion and understanding of those that I thought should be able to help me. So, I took matters into my own hands. I sought help, found an amazing naturopath; went back to school and became a nutritionist and health coach, started working on my issues one by one and made it my mission to educate and support other women helping them to feel confident, balanced, empowered, and healthy! I once again have the energy to do what I love - mountain bike, road ride, and play with my grandson.
